My story
After my road cycling career end, I’ve started a full time job as a Sales Area Manager in the automatic packaging machinery industry ( quite a big industry in this Region).
This has taken me on a heavy international business schedule (over 100 flights per year), a constant jet lag and a totally different environment for trying to keep me fit while travelling.
In these years I got inspired from colleagues and friends, customers able to combine a successful business and a strong passion for sport.
One of the most challenging is triathlon so during a weekend in Sao Paulo, my friend Marco decided to let me join a brick session with his local team, with a 70km bike ride and a 15 km run. The first attempt was a disaster but I was amazed how the body was able to adapt to different motion and style.
After this first experience I started to practise triathlon and committed to my first 70.3 race in Spain. Here’s some of the main results:

2014 – BMW Berlin Marathon 2h35min (95th overall)
2015 – TOKYO Marathon 2h35min ( 98th overall)

2019 – Mainova Frankfurt Marathon 2h32:32 min
2019 – CETILAR Pisa international Marathon 2h27:53 (4th overall)

2018-2020: 50KM TERRE DI SIENA Ultra-marathon ( best time 3h17’53” with 800D+)
2018: 50 KM DI ROMAGNA : 3h24min (14th overall)

2015 – IM 70.3 Barcelona (4h45’) and IM Mallorca (Spain) 9h34’ (top 50 overall)
2016 – IM Texas NA championship (8h54*bike segment reduced) – IM Mallorca Spain (9h09) 25th overall and Kona slot
2017- IM World Championship Kona – Hawaii (10:32min)
2019- IM Austria Klagenfurt (9h54min)
